After doing all I knew to move on from being wounded, I couldn't get over the pain...this book helped guide me on having Christ, the forgiver work through me! The Lord used this to finally bring healing and relief! Simple and profound. I believe this could help if you have forgiven that person who hurt you, but can't get over the pain. I thank my Great Father in heaven for always being there, and being my great healer.
In my experience mere reading this book is not enough. One has to keep drinking of its 'waters' till it gets into one's blood as it were. I think then only will the truths it contains manifest in one's life. Am truly gratefully the author's .

The book has illustrations and testamonies revealing how to receive healing for past hurts and to live in calmness and peace. I also recomment their Book Deep Relief Now.
The essence of this book is understanding the gift of forgiveness. Too often we think of forgiveness as a sacrifice we make for others, but the Clark's help the reader to see the true gift forgiveness is for the one who is forgiving. I love the concept of finding God in my gut, rather than my heart. This makes perfect sense because this is the center of my feelings, and my heart - where we tend to think of our "God center" - is really our connection to others. This book is a liberating and empowering read - a must for anyone who is open to growing and self-awareness.
This book dealt with inner healing. More specifically inner healing in the area of forgiveness. You learn steps to forgive yourself, God, and others. Through forgiveness we can free ourselves from the things of life (sickness, unhealthy emotions, etc.). The book could have been shorter and still had the same impact. The author talked more from the viewpoint of someone new to inner healing. He explained about the three parts of man (body, soul, and spirit) and where they are located. The author spent time trying to help you understand how your spirit functions and how to physically feel your spirit through exercises. I did not try the exercises. They are not necessary to get the benefits of living free.
Practical ways to be at peace with God, yourself, and others through the power of forgiveness. New dynamics are introduced in this book that are both orthodox but also progressive. As someone who has experienced abuse and struggled with anxiety this book offered ways for me to begin the healing process toward being at peace with others and myself while at the same time remaining connected to God. I highly recommend this insightful and practical book to anyone looking to be more at peace.
I read many books including the Bible all the time, but after seeing the Clarks on TV, I have yearned to learn more, experience God in me, not God out there. This is simple but so profound. The simple things change us so deeply but often the most important and difficult to do. The Clarks have made this simple but doable. This model is prophetic because it is a key to the end time Church. We are saved and born again as individuals and we come to our fulfillment as children of a loving Father knowing Him, His will, and walking it out with Him. This is our destiny.
